I’m sorry but I think it’s ridiculous that someone’s grades determines their entire life. Just because someone doesn’t do as well as expected in an exam it shouldn’t mean that they have to re-think their entire life plan. I also think that it’s equally ridiculous that grades ‘reflect’ how clever a person actually is. People can’t be expected to be good at every single subject, and just because they’re not good at a certain subject it doesn’t make them stupid or inferior. When people expect you to know what you want to do for the rest of your life at the age of 18/19 is also crazy. How the hell are you expected to definitely know what profession you want to stay in for the rest of your life at that age? If you’re one of the people that does know what job they want to do then that’s great but it’s not all that easy for others. And the thing that really annoys me is the fact that if you don’t know what job you want then you’re seen as an unorganised idiot. (As you can tell, I’m massively stressed about exams, hence the reason for this rant)
I could actually scream. I think that is beyond stupid.

have you ever stayed up late with someone texting or chatting and known as the hours ticked by that you’d be ridiculously tired in the morning but it didnt matter because it was really fun and totally worth losing sleep over just to laugh with someone and enjoy their company maybe and then the next day you keep tiredly recalling how much fun it was while you’re falling asleep in class and that makes it not so bad that you’re tired anymore
